Mark, Andy Estrada as far as I know is still flying birds. If my memory is correct he flies american rollers. Not sure the difference but he claims there is a difference. I have not personally witnessed his birds just spoke with him on the phone. Anyway hope to see you at the next BBQ. Joe

American Rollers fly higher and longer. They are usually deep rollers, but less frequent than the Birminghams. The older guys who lived on the east half of the country are probably more familiar with them. I knew them growing up in Illinois. It was people like Paul Vaughn, George Reeve, Jim Petersen, and Joe Marlett who brought the Birminghams into Iowa, Missori, and Illinois to name a few places

Bigwilly... I would like more information regarding the next NCRC show. Hopefully I can make it.

Bought myself a new smartphone and the battery is dead on my old phone, therefore it's hard to call old numbers right now.

Tell you what. Hit my email at deepspinners@usa.com and leave me your phone number Bigwilly.

Hi Jeff, We can have a meeting on it soon with the board of directors and decide on a date and go from there. It is mainly a fund raiser and I think March or April would be best as the weather can be cold or windy and rainy during Feb. Plus if poeple have squeakers there will be plenty of birds for auction and that is why most show up.

You are one of the board members and so anything you would like to do is good. I will talk later with you and the others and see what we might work out. Bill C

Looks like we have a ride Paul. Let me know when you want to go. Maybe the car would be better to carry the birds back but you know I will find a way to strap them to the bike LOL!!! Thanks again for the interest in our show square.
