i was looking @ some old posts about if piegon poo is good as ferterlizer for gardens and flowers ect. put the poo in 5 gallon buckets with several 1/2 inch holes in the bottom.leave about 2 inches free at the top of the bucket to add water fill with water until water starts dripping from the hold over plants [if you can] or put over bricks to let water drain into the soil add 1 tablespoon of epson salts to each planting area. tomatoes like you never saw before, i use it on my gardinas and get flowers galore. by adding water you do not have to worry if its too hot and by doing it this way you will not have any weeds from the grain

Good Idea. I raked my poo pile in this fall, I hope the snow will leach the poo in. When I till this spring I hope it will be good. But I like your idea and will try that to. Thanks ---------- RT Williams

Rod that is why I put it on in the fall, after I clear the garden. I have been told it is hot, but spread out and a few months of snow on it ussually cools it off. ---------- RT Williams
