Power Pigeon 4.1 users might not know that when Power Pigeon was designed it would backup to a 3.5" floppy disk that was almost always designated a:\. Now a lot of computers no longer have a 3.5 floppy. The backup and restore feature can still be used with any writable CD or DVD drive. As example if your DVD drive is D:\ then replace the A:\backup.zip with D:\backup.zip and the same applies when using the restore feature. Nick's misfortune jogged my memory to go backup! Thanks Nick, sorry for your trouble. Thom

Make sure you take the time to back up all your documents. It does happen to you. ------------------------------------------ "Left leaning communist pinko @#%* and Masturbator" ------------------------------------------ Nick Siders

I feel ya Guys. I have been using power pigeon for 10 years now and have had difficulties at times even getting it to backup for me. If I didnt have so much time into it loading birds over the years I would junk it and try something different but I dont want to have to load all these birds back into another program. Joe, I have used Power pigeon ever since it came out on a floppy disk LOL LOL now that was a long time ago. But I go back to my books for records. I keep a copy in the loft and a copy in the house. I use a sprial ring notebook to transfer the data from the loft to the house. So I have a composition book for every year. Until you get a divorce and all your programs and books come up missing and you have to start all over again. One of these days I'm going to figure this out LOL LOL

Ya Brian I too started with the floppy and that is the only reason I still use it. I also use a notebook in the loft that is printed copies of the pair off report. I like Power Pigeon but I dont like the hassles sometimes when attempting to back it up. Joe ---------- J.M.Urbon Lofts A Proven Family of Spinners http://www.freewebs.com/jmurbonlofts/

I use www.rollerdb.com I like it much better than power pigeon. You don't need to back up nothing as it's back up already. My computer crash a couple of times and everything got lost. Now using rollerdb everything is online so I don't need to save it.
