----------will a cock feed and raise a 4 day old baby,they are in individuals??I dont have any babies the same age so i can not foster..need to take out hen and give her to a friend out of state,can keep her for one more day??any advice??will it work??

It all depend s on the cock. It is highly unlikely for a cock to feed the young on their own for that long but in individuals you might get lucky. Good luck. Joe

I would put that youngster with another pair and keep an eye out. It just might work. I have done that in the past several times with great results...
