I have a this year bird about 4 or 5 weeks old that has been doing fine but yesterday I noticed that he was laying on the wire mesh flooring with his wings spread wide opened and staying that way I removed him from the other birds. Any ideas if I should have to worry or he will be fine?

Might have been a reaction to the difficulty some birds have with walking on the wire mess floor. Just got tired and said "f___ it" and laid down(LOL)for a rest. Put it on some solid floor and see how it behaves.

My birds do this quite often when sunning themselves. Its sounds pretty natural but if you are concerned you did the right thing by seperating it. Keep an eye on him but I'm sure he's fine, just needed a little stretch and some sun probably.
LMAO @ Nicks post. As I was reading the problem I actually was thinking to myself the same thought Nick, except I was thinking that he was just lazy. i do it too when Im having a difficult time 'conversing' with my wife ... I lay down with my arms over my head and say the same. BTW the flooring doesnt make any difference in my case. ----------
