one clove crushed, in your water fount, as often as you want. I replace it every week or sooner.

Lew and anyone interested garlic has so many health benefits and germ and virus fighting qualities for us and our birds, I can't even begin to list them. I would recommend acquiring a copy of:
The Miracle of GARLIC&VINEGAR By James Edmond O'Brien Copyright 1991 by Globe Communications Corp. Available for cheap on Amazon dot com (2 or 3 bucks when available)

I typically use garlic in a once weekly tea that I use. I boil a clove of garlic, 2 carrots, a little onion and brewers yeast in a gallon of water and it seems to improve feather quality and preserve a high immune system. It seems to also bring out the color of the feet and breast flesh.
