Hi all, Well they are finally here! I took them out of their shipping crate and put them in their newly built kit box, and wow! what quality. Tony I must say they are like peas in a pod. The uniformity of body type, head type, eye expression and feather quality just jumps out at you! An accomplishment in itself. Tony I know you named them out of love and respect for your mom, but these are not Rubys, they are diamonds in the rough and its up to me now to bring out their brilliance! The genetics are there and after owning and managing a very successful construction company for the past 15 years I feel that I am qualified enough to see a good investment when I see It! There are many followers but few are leaders and you my friend are a leader! Regards, Raul.

Hi Thom, I am glad that you share my happiness! And yes my friend they certainly are impressive to me! I cant wait till they mature. I have decided to fly most of them since BOPS are not a problem here. That way I will know which individuals to breed from for future birds. I would love to talk with you more about Rubys/Diamonds in the rough so I will email you privately. Once again one of the reasons for me choosing Rubys was because of the INTEGRITY of the MAN behind them! Thom my younger older brother LOL I believe I will have many a momentous occasion with these birds! And only through good management, breeding scene and Patience I feel that I will accomplish my goal! Take care my friend and God Bless, Raul.

Raul, are you originally from Bermuda or did you retire there? Just wondering since you speak of no BOP's, sounds like a place I would enjoy retiring to myself!

I am waiting on my second group of Rubys, i have raised and bread horses most of my life and understand the importance of build, conformatoin and intelligence, an animal that has these traits will normaly out last and perform those with poor traites, i have a few birds i picked up before i learned of tonys birds and the diferance in their build and the way they present themselves compared to my previously pearchased birds is increadable. though my knowledge of rollers is small i would recomend Rubys to anyone that is looking for quality.

Here is a little comparison. The bird on the left is and Ash out of Reed stock way back, the bird on the right is a Ruby. Look at the difference in size. The ruby has a much better build, though the bird on the left performs decent, the Ruby is younger and spins much harder.

Hey Raul, so glad you like the birds! I take it as a high compliment when someone recognizes the homozygous traits that run across the strain as well as your keen eye to be aware of such matters. ;-)
I also appreciate everyone's support of your decision to acquire the Ruby strain. THANKS to ALL!
