I would think as long as the birds continued to incubate the eggs, they should be ok. ---------- 5 Cedars Roller Lofts

Hey Jerry, Replace the nest bowl if you have not already done so. Make sure the nesting material is dry and I think you should be alright if the parents continue to sit the nest.
Good luck, Take care Thom

sorry to be on the other side here if the eggs were submerged in water they are N/G candle them in a few days but 99%N/G eggs are pores and will absorb the water and droned the embroil in the shell. Good luck and keep a close eye, Dennis

Dennis, I did not read submerged, I read wet! If the nest was only wet, I still think they could be good. :) Submerged, I agree. :)
Take care my friend Thom

Dennis, Old friend, I must be reading funny tonight! :) I agree 100% that if the eggs were submerged for any length of time they would not be good. I thought that most likely the nest was a paper bowl and the water was not deep and the nest only wet. IF that was the case, then I would still give the eggs a good chance. As you suggested, candle them in a few days. I would not just throw them out without circumspect.
Take care my friend and I never considered you a Rookie
