Is it good for a hen to lay her first egg & begin mating again before the second egg is laid? Is there such a thing as "Over Mating"?

well that is generally not a good thing, they will most likely abandon the nest and start another set of eggs. A young male will sometimes drive a hen like this.

I'm just hoping she wont lay more eggs than they can handle.Than I wont know which egg was the first laid.
