I cant help but laugh when these Blowhards say "I GOT A LOFT OF 20 FOOTERS" 'IM tryin to figure out which one to elimate' For the flys???COMMIN UP 'ahemm' I dont mean just one guy, there are a bunch of these, 'smokeblowers' I will say this...YOU COULDNT RUN FAST ENOUGH TO GIVE ME ONE...I will guarentee you, a 20 footer out of my loft, will be a whole lot different, than your 20 footer...BELIEVE ME..And i dont have a loft full either.Ive only been at this game 60 yrs, and still dont have a loft full. Get Real, Stan Plona had the best, he would breed 200 birds a yr. and STOCK TWO OR THREE,,BUT Stan knew velosity, the spin, style, these birds were the BEST IN THE WORLD...Some will say YEAH that was 30 yrs ago..TRUE..I have em, so i know how old the line is..AND THEY ARE STILL.....THE BEST IN THE WORLD....And when i said "overall" our rollers are loosing..velosity and are changing..It is a concern to all ,to keep the integrity of our rollers, to the highest standard.....LEO

I think what Leo is trying to say is that what he considers a quality 20'spinner is way different than what many are flying in the average kit. Leo, correct me if I'm wrong?

Russ, you are an "ACE" you are fantastic, DEAD ON....Your a Real PIGEON MAN. The second half is to 'pull' a few guys back, with words to make them a little pissed , so they might, respond to this site again, I already see one motor mouth, has showed up,,Ill bet he has a loft of 50 footers, Rick ought to see them, but hes probably already got a LOFTFULL,and dont need to see em....LEO

Leo,
Back off a little brother...I do not think that Rick is a motor mouth. Rick Mee is a very respected Roller Man, Breeder, Flier and competitor. He has placed in the top 5 in the world cup numerous times. Due to his military service he has not been on his game lately...but have a little respect man...or I will have Motherlode come back and chap your hide..LOL

Hi Paul, looks like you are on track, with your birds. Good luck with them.I was not refering to Rick as a Motor mouth, I just noticed a name reappearing "comming back" so to speak, on the site that IS a motor mouth,...If you see Motherlode, tell him to come back,he knows what "silky"is finally,he was so mad he wouldnt even answer,It hurt his reputation.Tell him if he comes back I wont be so hard on him,I think the next lesson, will be on COLOR BIRDS, He shure needs help in that area,......LEO

Leo.I think the Color Debate has pretty much ended on all the roller sites.Everyone seems to have parted as friends as it should be.Don,t you dare go and get things stirred up on here again about Color.LOL. There is a lot of more important things we can discuss than Color. David

Just so the Trolls don't come back in here. I like the atmosphere here. Maybe because Tony has a few rules of conduct to prevent chaos from ruling. I have a couple of guys in another forum follow me around and respond critically to almost every post I make. I guess I stepped on their toes somewhere and now they carry a grudge. It makes posting difficult in an atmosphere like that.

Well Leo you bated me back in LOL , Plona birds the best in the world ? and "you" still have the best in the world hmmmmm talk comes easy when you don't leave your backyard or compete with the rest of the world to proove it doesn't it, the days of just "talk" are over, there are now ways to proove it if you truelly think it is so, and other than new guys such talk just falls on deaf ears, The rest of us say , no bullshit excuses "put em up" Leo. No doubt Plonas birds are behind some fine families, but it certainly doesn't stop there , there are many fine families off of different branches off of that same tree,Just curious you sour old gummer, you said I need a lesson on color birds , are you saying I need them ? if so that is doubtful. All this talk about qaulity is pretty ironic comeing from someone that thinks "FireBalls" are good birds , there is a reason why they have all but died out. One thing that we do agree on though leo, is that we must breed and keep the breed to the highest standard , the best way to do that is expose the backyard talkers for what they are "talkers".

LOL Cliff, only thing is those that compete know better than to brag on their birds as they know full well that these birds can and will humble you in a heartbeat with a yard full of people on any given day.

Yeah, I've seen a number of guys humbled in front of a yard full of people during this WC comp. Mostly it seems to be from out birds or early-landers that are otherwise good performers. Looks like a conditioning/feed/weather related issue. I guess I will find out in due time. Cliff
