I got home from work today to find my wee girl had her favourite cock out the loft, he was very poorly, he could hardly stand up.
No other signs of illness, his eyes were ok, no swellings on his legs or wings, no sign of lost weight, he seemed perfectly ok yesterday.
I have seperated him from his hen, I put their squabs on the floor a week ago and they seem ok.
All advice appreciated.

Hey Al, if his sickly condition is bacterial in nature, I would start the bird on Sulmet using the recommended treatment and get him some pro-biotics and vitamin solution in an attempt to build him up (follow printed directions).
If he had some kind of accident like rolling in the loft and hitting the floor, just make sure he can eat and drink and he will probably be "okay".
Beyond this, you might look for possible causes of an illness brought on by loft conditions and management:
Dirty feed trays and water feeders, heat/cold, excessive droppings buildup, bad feed, rodent droppings infecting loft, etc. Hope all works out.

Tony. Thanks for that.
After 2 days in a cage with food and water he seems to have made a full recovery, very strange, he may have banged his head as you suggest. Thing is I am using him as a feeder as he will hardly roll in a kit never mind in the loft.
