Tony, it's just a bit confusing after being away for a week and then logging on to catch up on some posts and trying to figure out what all the editing stuff is all about. For a minute you had me worried that you had lost it and joined the PC crowd. LOL! Thanks for the clarification.

Tony, I'm Asian too, no offense taken from anyone here, but just like to add my two cents.
IF you don't use the word asian, than what is the altenative? I guess to be politically correct, you'll say Asian American, just like Mexican American for people of hispanic/ Mexican decent or African American for blacks---the thing is not everyone is politically correct in this board, and I do understand your point, it is a very good one. However, I also agree with paul too--which is the norm when describing someone in a more slang term other than using polically correct terms. having said this--saying Asian, black, or mexican, white, Indian, would be alright with most people on here--thats what i am sensing the guys are okay with. IF you are all of the above and not stealing roller pigeons, than there is nothing to worry, if you are or know of someone who does, than by all means inform us, or don't bring thieves to other people's homes. People do get nervous.
One solution I can think of is this:
people can try to used thier real name in here and be addressed by thier real name. So that "ethnicity" wont be an issue. Some of us are.

You are totally right that you do not have to say the nationality of the kids to tell the story. But as a roller fancier...I myself...living in the area..I believe that Parlor is from the Sacramento area...I would love to know what the nationality is whether it be Asian, white, Black..Blue purple...especially if he said that they were asian kids driving a white car...that way I can keep my eye out as well as other fanciers close to that location. Woodland is just a hope skip and a jump from Sacramento. So, if I see a white car with some Asian kids that I have not seen before driving up and down my street...it will just keep my eyes open.....that is it..just eyes open....not stopping them and giving them some crap. Even if they were not asian...if they were white guys or mexican...or whatever...I would like to know..just to keep the eyes open and that is it...some of my breeder can't be replaced...so a little head start is great....watch the news...you know..the when the news issues a bulletin....be on the look out for a green van ...1 hispanic male and 1 white female...they have been seen casing neighborhoods ...blah blah blah...so what is your instinct if you it is close to your neighborhood...you keep your eyes open....of course you do not stop every green van with a mexican and a white woman driving in your neighborhood...it just keeps you on your toes. All it is Tony is giving a discription of some kids that may or may not be stealing pigeons. Now if Parlor just said some kids...well that does not help me one bit....but I guarantee if someone posted on your site and they live 20 miles from you and said that all his birds were stolen and they were two asian looking kids..you would sure want to know. I know I would...race does not mean a thing...it is the stealing that means something...the race just narrows it down is discribing an idividual or possible individual or individuals. Race just points you in a certain direction...it does not say that the only race that steals pigeons is Asian..it just says that those individuals HAPPENED to be Asian. Anyway...I listen to Rush tooLOL...and I think you know me well enough to know that I am pretty level headed...and I woudl be the first to cry fowl on something that has to do with belittling a certain race..
I really do not think that this makes people suspicious of asian kids...it make people in the surrounding area suspicious of asian kids that are scoping out your house...or are unfamiliar to your neighborhood. Again, I have lots of friends that are Asian...and if in fact Parlor lives close to me...and I see a white car driving up and down my culdesac with a couple asian kids and they drive by more then one day and I know my neighbors....all it will do is keep my senses up...that is it..nothing more. Hell my neighbors are chinese and with this past post...I would not blame my neighbors if some birds came up missing...even though they are asian and they have kids....they are asian kids that I am familiar with...get my point...it does not make me look different about asian kids...just asian kids peaking over my fence.

Oh..one more thing...The Romans thing....I agree and I don't...Now in that day and age...you had to agree with the Roman empire...well...or you would be the next one fed to the lions...As a matter of fact...a lot of societys and countrys in that era had to agree with the Romans...or you would be put to death...hey if you said that I was going to be wacked if I did not agree with you and I seen you wack a bunch of people and the government agreed...well...I would keep my mouth shut...LOL! I totally get you points that you brough up...and I understand human nature...working in the line of work that I am in...but I think the good bunch of people that we have on this site have a pretty good head on there shoulders....and most of us..do not let somebody in there backyard..unless they are a friend or a friend of a friend...I do not care what color or race you are...if you I do not know you...you ain't wathing my birds fly....I will talk to you on the phone first and see what you know about birds...then I will give you some...but I will bring them to your place and then I know where you live....I just think that we have a great bunch of guys on here and they have pretty good heads on there shoulders... and would NEVER discourage a new flier based on race or from a post or two on this site....
I think the only thing about color on this site that gets people going is the color of a bird..not a flier..LOL

Red Devil, It's plain and simple. No one is saying stupid things to you. If you purchased birds which may have been stolen from kenny, What is the problem with giving up the seller? May save someone else from the same fate. Quit dancing around the question! I think it's fairly evident to everyone here what is going on. Just an opinion.

hey you guys great news, I guess the theif must be somewhere in the neighborhood, I got up this morning and there was 2 eager birds trying to get into my loft, It turned out, it was one of my 2-3 month old parlor roller and my female fireball roller. I am so happy, I have a peice of my old line...
