Katyroller, I love to fly my birds for anyone. The primary reason for this is I want to make sure I do not go loft blind like some tend to do..LOL.. Oh and I have learned to tune out all the crying...LOL. Take care....

George, are you going to talk shit, or back up your shit talking with legitimate answers to my question. Paul already chickened out. Now you too? It would appear the more you guys speak, the more you look like nothing more than whiners. Stand up and defend your posted opinions with facts and earn respect.

George, since when is asking for "facts" about the statements you and Paul have made suddenly become being offended??? Condeming statements are made about activities that are suggested take place in other regions. Rather than make statements that such activities exist, again I ask you to show facts to substantiate your clams of "BS".

Region 14 gives the person who won our last fly the first option on fly time for the next fly, and then goes around the valley from there. While I agree there should be no monopoly on fly times, it is a touchy subject. In my region for years I have paid extra to other regions, air fare, etc., as well as each fly my son and I enter 2 kits each. George Ruiz came along and has helped me carry the brunt of the monetary load the last several years. So it can be tough to wait all year for one or two key flys and give up your time to a new flyer that pays for 1 kit, so we use the last winner has choice and go from there. Fly time does make a difference. In the 2008 WC Fly I had first choice on fly time since I had won our LVRC Cup fly. I chose to go second as the judge was staying on the other side of town. Like clock work it is calm here that time of year and then at around 9AM the wind typically picks up. So we had plenty of time to get 2 flyers in before then. On fly day it was beautiful weather in the morning. After the first flyer a new flyer, Angel, asked if he could go next as he had been called in to work. The weather was nice so I agreed. After he flew we headed to my house. By the time we got to my house it was 15 mph winds and my birds got blown around. I was not happy as I had a team that could have placed quite well in the finals. A few of our group told me I shouldn't have given up my spot. At the time I agreed. But it was the right thing to do as we are a club and how can we grow our club without supporting the newcomers. I think newcomers do have some dues to pay as we so called veterans paid those dues along the way. But to consitently give the garbage times to the group and save primetime for the so called elite flyers is wrong- period. Also, Cliff makes a point about the 50% rule. The NBRC definitely needs to define that in writing. We have been told in the past that as long as we fly 1/2 our kits entered we are OK. Now we are included with some other small regions as accused of entering ghost kits with no intention of flying them. We are a small group and often are borrowing judges with limited time for us. We do our best to fly as many as we can. But we were never out of integrity as we never were trying to circumvent a unwritten law that we fly all of our kits. We have worked hard and have earned our places in the finals. Definition of a club is a group of individuals working as one towards a common goal. I think alot of people out there need to learn this definition. If that last line touched your button, then you are one of them.

Brian
The person that told me that this BS is happening in his region is in the process of getting a new region put in place.

This new Region will not be in California.
In no way does this change affect you or me in any way.

Ba Rollers,
George IS NOT TALKING SHIT, He is TALKING FACTS. He was told these things by Members of that Region. They are in the process of trying to get a New Region put in place, so are keeping a low profile.

Stay tuned: The facts of this BS will come out!

PS: Nobody is crying. They're just tired of a few Guys controlling every aspect of Their Region, and are looking for change so all is fair.

Brian,

If you spent this much energy in fixing the issues or at least have a meeting with CPRC and all that do see matters in a different way, but as far as your concerned theres nothing to fix to begin with.

I do wish that things could have turned for the better, but instead with so much negativity you keep losing even your own CPRC members since its obviously CPRC's way, or the HIGHWAY.

I just dont see any room for improvement therefore I dont see any reason to continue responding. PEACE

What issues must be fixed Paul? You have yet to provide facts, only statements of opinion. Facts are what are used to resolve issues, not opinions. Its not my job to put forth energy into resolving an issue with a region or club, particularly one that has yet to be backed up with any kind of factual evidence. Can you substantiate your claims of the issues that need fixing? Somehow I doubt it since you've been asked repeatedly to answer the questions and legitimize your stance, yet have failed to provide anything more than "there are things and people we don't like, but can't actually provide any evidence to support my position".
I don't have a dog in this fight. I just fly with MY region when I'm told I'm going to fly. But one thing I hate is drama, jealosy and unsubstantiated rumors.

Facts is the tool that effects change.
Rumors without any kind of proof only ushers in a question of character.
