Hello All, I made the decision to remove "Jim" from the forum. It appeared rather than contribute anything useful, his posts appeared to me to be antagonistic and childish; thereby violating the community standards of this community as setforth in the Posting Policy. ---------- FLY ON! Tony, Jim might have a different view than us. Why remove him from the list? kinda like others not allowing some to join there group. And his topics were of rollers and he didn't like the W/C fly and did like the 11 bird fly. And the best of all he didn't like Scott LOL LOL

Yeah, Mike. You were REAL close! LOL! I can't see where the guy was really and sincerely trying to make a contribution. He was just going back into old posts and trying to open old wounds, and playing at being incomprehensible in the process. I think that, in order for a man to contribue to this forum, a basic understanding of the Engliush language is a must! LOL! That's pretty simple, don't you think? YITS, Cliff

What if Jim is doing the best he can with a limited knowledge of the english language? What if he has a debilitating condition whch prevents him from typing properly? What if he is just a freak trying to stir shit? Just shakin your tree bro. lmao YITS KennyH

My guess (and hope) is that Tony contacted "Jim" about all this before mking his decision. When we register we give an email address so Tony probably went private with him and then made the decision.

Hey Jim, I considered a number of things, from addressing him on the forum to emailing in person.
From his posts and people asking him for clarification of same, he never responded to one that I recall. I came to the conclusion based on what I observed that he was simply and intentionally abusing the forum and the posters and playing with everyones mind and good intentions. I made the call to remove him. If he wants to contact me about the decision and appeal it, I am not hard to find.
But he won't, he will go elsewhere and complain and disparage me and the site to others that share his opinion and they will have a good giggle over it at our expense. ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

I don't mean to over step my bounderly but kicking some one out just because he doesn't know how to spell or write is plain out wrong. There is a huge difference from not making sense and being mean. This forum is a previlage that is open to any one. Until you do something un called for, you should have that previlage. Just my take, Thor
P.S. Just imagine if we started kicking every one out of our local clubs just because they won't fly in the competitions. Even asking some one to leave is out right wrong in my opinion. Every one needs to have the same right to learn all they can and share their views - even tho it doesn't make any sense or is total BS.

Hey Thor, it IS piling on to make fun of someones spelling. That is not why he was removed however. See my previous post in this thread, I will stick by it. I believe he knew what he was doing and was just waiting for something to happen. He was probably amazed he was allowed to go on as long as he was without someone challenging him.
I think mostly everyone here was aware something was amiss with the theme of his posts and the lack of responding to questions posed to him regarding them. ---------- FLY ON! Tony Chavarria

Tony,
I agree with you. He seemed to be just sturring the pot. He did not make sense. It seemed most of the posts that he commented on were negative and the posts were old posts with a negative body. So, I think that you were right by doing what you did. If he wanted back on...he could contact you. If he is a slow dude...then when he calls you...you will find out. But if he is just here to make a stink..then...good bye! Anyway...I think that you made the right choice.

Jim, I have had birds that Carl bred back in the early 80's.. I have known several guys that had his stock and seen literally 100's of birds flown off that stock.. I have seen some good birds yes.. I have seen they have a very high percentage of roll down also.. Here is the thing Jim, I never seen any of the Hardesty birds roll better than the good birds in other families.. The good ones from the Hardesty line are just that,, Darn good rollers!! The Hardesty birds are no HOLY grail!! You seen some good ones at Carl's, but to use that as a reason to run Pensom down is FOOLISH!! Where the heck do you think Hardesty birds roll came from? Pensom birds are in the background even of Hardesty's birds.. Pensom made Hardesty birds what they were.. You should bow down and lick Pensom's feet!! You might have to dig him up, but you don't seam to mind stomping on the dead so that shouldn't be a problem. LMAO Mongrel Lofts

Jim, I would have to go with the guy in his 20's eye sight!! A great friend of mine and one of the truly Great roller men in this hobby, Dave Sanchez once told me, Man, I seen my first true champion, a pure spinning blur with no wings showing at all. Just a melting ball!!! Then the doctor told me the next week I needed glasses! What a let down! LOL Point is, honestly the true rare champion is much like Michael Jordon or Tiger Woods, they are freaks of nature and rarely produce like.. They often produce great rollers, but rarely another champion freak of nature.. I agree with you whole heartedly, when we get a bird with extreme velocity we must breed from them to keep that gene in the line of rollers.. I have bred a few of these X-treme speedsters, but they are rare today.. Just like they were years ago.. You must breed for them, but you will never breed them in large numbers. NEVER!!!! Champion extreme velocity just doesn't come by the kit full.. I have seen many kits of great rollers, but only a handful of true extreme velocity rollers in any kit.. If you ever do see a kit of them, you either need glasses, or you have no idea what extreme velocity is.. Just the facts Pardner.. Mongrel Lofts

axels junk not worthy world cup dont judge these things my o my stpudity every were lets take 2" round ball sticking out each side are 1/2"knobs the 2"ball revolves on the knobes. now it seems that the knobs are wings on a bird,so i am told if that were so the knobs , would be bigger than the ball. understand no. put your hand around the bird aprox 4" knobs 1" but wings extended aprox 11",bird rotating on wings extended are not axeles.and supremly better than x x x . lets get past the nonsense. and get to the meat. jim 3/19/06

Hey Kevin, Of course I understand my own insignificance in the roller sport. Jim here thinks the fact he has seen a good roller, makes him significant! He understands something the rest of us don't. I have heard the BLA BLA BLA from back yard flyers who think they know what a good one is better than anyone else all my life.. They are legends in their own minds and yards!! Having seen the true speed the rest of the roller world has missed. They feel they must enlighten the rest of us! By enlighten, I mean tell the rest of us how to fly and breed the type of bird they could never fly at home really.. What they fly over their yards and in their kits never matches up with the dream roller in their heads.. That is the great thing about rollers.. You can BLA BLA BLA from that little dream world in your head, or you can fly rollers.. We all have the choice of letting the fantasy in our heads skew the reality of what flys over our lofts.. Or come down to the real world and match the quality of rollers we fly, with the reality of the birds over our lofts.. Some are better at dreaming and pretending..Telling story's about the extreme blurs they see in their day dreams.. Others fly rollers for the world to see and judge.. I guess we all have to do a little soul searching to figure out what is reality, and what is make believe.. We can all talk about melting ball bearings, that blur into shrinking nothingness. Steamed heat that evaporates from shear speed. Easy to do and sounds great! As long as we don't have a bunch of guys coming over to see all that BLA BLA BLA legend in our own minds and back yards fantasy we have been spewing.. When you have to put them up for a crowd and judge. You know, show them, not just talk about them. Then all this BLA BLA BLA fantasy stuff tends to come to a screeching halt!!!! Just my humble opinion, Mongrel lofts

My name is Ken Billings Jim.. My lofts are called KGB-Black Diamond Roller Lofts.. I live in Kuna Idaho. I have been flying competition and breeding rollers since 1979. I'm not even close to being a phantom, although I think many wished I were! LOL I just fly good honest rollers Jim.. I'm not the best or the worst roller breeder and flyer in the sport.. I am a player.. ( A FLY GUY ) Just like many on this list.. I'm one who truly believes in put up, or shut up! I respect the men who put the birds up for all to judge and be recorded. TALK IS CHEAP!!! I like a good story as much as the next guy, but only if its based in reality. I have seen way to much, they brag and they boast, They have the best from coast to coast.. Show me, Us roller men have a playing field now.. Time for talking is over, IT's SHOW TIME!!!!! Mongrel Lofts

Al, I don't have a problem with back yard roller keepers. I just respect the men who put the work in and let the rollers do the talking. That's my personal opinion. I have been in rollers long enough to know, being old and having rollers a long time, does not always mean a guy knows how to breed and fly good rollers. Just proves he has kept rollers a long time! Of course it is a huge advantage if the student has been awake all them years. If he has, I feel he would want to show the world the quality of rollers he produced and worked on all them years. Just my Opinion Al.. Sorry you won't be posting on here anymore. Mongrel Lofts

Well, who cares what Kenny or I or anybody else here in the list think. If you are happy with your backyard flying, then be it. I don't fly in competition myself just yet, and I was not offended by what Kenny said. We are grown men not children to get hurt feelings for every little thing said. I see Kenny's point. If it was missed, he is saying: How do you know you have the best birds if the birds not being judged by somebody else such as a competition judge? Allot of people on this site and other sites brag about how good their birds are and there is nobody else has better birds, but when you go watch their birds, you know otherwise. Nobody is holding anybody to post and if there is no sportsmanship then maybe you will find what you are looking for somewhere else. Here we try to respect everybody's opinion as long as it is constructive and logical.
If Kenny made that comment toward you in particular, I would understand where you are coming from, but he did not. He was trying to drive a point to Jim. Jim is holding his own and doing pretty good. So lets keep this discussion clean and constructive without any jabs here and there. Thanks for all your understanding and sportsmanship.
Jay
