Katcher, have you seen Cliff's birds or Randy Gibson's birds in action? I don't think so...cus if you have you won't be saying this stuff...I assure you.

There is a friendly feud between Scott and Cliff but Randy is not on it. Check out Randy's birds.

Thanks, again, Jay. I flew them for a guy from Texas, today. You might say that he was pleased with what he saw, based on his comments.....even though the birds are on the chunky side and only being flown once a week.

Katcher,
When and if I ever find a family of birds that can perform to my standards, that are any better than what I have been breeding and flying for the past four years, I may have to switch. I have first-hand experience with half a dozen families and have seen many more in the air. I see a few as good, but none better....there always seem to be trade-offs...you gain, here, but you lose, there......but then I haven't seen them all.....meanwhile, its performance first.....the color comes along for the ride. You might as well get used to it, bud. I'm not alone....far from it.....

Hey Katcher, I appreciate the concern for improving the website by shutting down Cliff et al, but I personally believe that the free-flow of valid information and opinion is more important than shutting up any roller fancier who might have some various so-called rare colors and modifiers in their loft.

I have personally spoken with probably hundreds (ok, a few dozen at least) of roller men frustrated with non-rolling rare colors. I know from these one-on-one conversations that once the gleam of the eye-candy wears off, without a doubt, most men long for performance over colorful rollers.

Katcher, my position is that if we breed and promote Birmingham Rollers that roll with inconceivable rapidity through a considerable distance like a spinning ball - like I do with my sales of Ruby Rollers on Roller-Pigeon.Com, then I think the BR will be just fine.

==

By your comments to me in one of your posts, I see you are really rather ignorant of what I have accomplished here by “selling” my Ruby strain of Birmingham Rollers. I have shipped hundreds and hundreds of Birmingham Rollers via my Ruby Roller strain into many many lofts throughout the country and if I exported, many more would have been shipped throughout the world.

TRUST ME, if I wanted to, I could sell hundreds of rollers every month of any shape, color, boot, crest, muff if it was just about the money. It’s not. I have a passion for the Birmingham Roller as a breed. That’s why I started selling products too so I can keep this site up and running with your support.

Every month for the last 5 years, I have spoken with guys who want this or that color and I educate them as to the finer aspects of the Birmingham Roller as breed. They won’t find fancy shmancy colors here, but it they are looking for Birmingham Rollers bred toward the aerial standard then they came to the right place.

Let the "free-market" determine if the breed is capable of living up to its aerial standard, I have seen it with my own eyes and believe with all my heart that it is.

While you meant no disrespect with your post above, it was very insulting, no worries, I have turned the other cheek…LOL

PS: big-names don’t impress or intimidate me
